Iloilo’s first luxury condo sells like hot cake

ILOILO CITY, April 14 (PNA) — The first luxury condominium tower in Iloilo Business Park is selling like hot cake one week after Megaworld Corporation started selling the units.

The publicly-listed real estate giant disclosed in a statement that One Madison Place is now 70 percent sold.

“The project hasn’t been officially launched yet but in just a short span of time, we have received overwhelming responses and a lot of inquiries on the property,” said Megaworld’s First Vice President Maricor Manlangit.

The ten-storey “One Madison Place” is occupying 1,700 square meters of 54-hectare Iloilo Business Park in Mandurriao District. The building features 156 units ranging from executive studios to two-bedroom.

It also has an automatic fire sprinkler system for all units, overhead water tank and underground cistern for water supply, standby power generator, two high-speed elevators, and a 24-hour security command center.

Other amenities include a swimming pool with paved sunbathing deck, an outdoor spa, and fitness station.

There are also function rooms, children’s playground and a state-of-the-art gym to the recreational interests of its future residents. A string of retail shops are also expected to open at the ground floor.

“One Madison Place” is expected to be completed and ready for turnover in 2017.

Aside from condominiums, Megaworld is also selling exclusive lots for its boutique hotel and commercial district at the Iloilo Business Park.

Soon to rise in the development will be BPO offices, towers, luxury hotels and a world-class Megaworld Lifestyle Mall.

It also features a 1.1-kilometer Festive Walk that provides easy access to the commercial strip, open parks, transport hub, and the much-anticipated Iloilo Convention Center.
