BACOLOD CITY, June 20 (PNA) — Five business process outsourcing (BPO) companies have signified interest to lease spaces at the Negros First Cyber Centre here, according to Provincial Administrator Enrique Pinongan.
These BPO companies are the Accenture, Capstone Solutions Inc., Jones Lang La Salle Inc., C.B. Richard Ellis Inc. and Colliers International, he said.
The five BPOs are among the 47 applicants for 109 commercial spaces at the first floor of Cyber Centre that has only 104 available units, he said.
Other applicants include banks, convenience stores, supermarkets, coffee shops, a travel agency, furniture and appliance showroom, and boutique.
A health bridge school for massage therapists, beauty salon, pharmacy, medical and dental clinics, law office, internet café, organic food and “pasalubong” stores are also in the list.
The lease fee monthly for commercial space is pegged at P300 per square meter while P250 per square meter for BPOs.
Pinongan said the province is expected to generate a monthly income of P935,100 or P11.2-million annually from the rentals.
But for BPOs, the official said, they expect a monthly income of about P2.18 million or P26.1 million annually.
