DSWD-6 to hold advocacy forum for journalists, bloggers


BACOLOD CITY, June 3 (PNA) – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is inviting journalists, columnist, radio commentators and bloggers in Negros Occidental to participate in their first advocacy forum here this year.

Led by DSWD-6 Regional Director Evelyn Macapobre, the advocacy forum will be held on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in L’Sea Dimsum along Lacson Street here.

Also invited in the event are the 10 of the 31 government information officers in the province.

Macapobre said the advocacy forum aims to further strengthen their engagement with the tri-media and social media bloggers in promoting DSWD’s priority programs, especially the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). (PNA)
