BFP-6 spends P6.1M to repair fire trucks


BACOLOD CITY, May 31 (PNA) — The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Western Visayas spent P6.1 million for the repair of 15 of its old fire trucks, some of which were intended for Negros Occidental.

Regional Logistics Division headed by Chief Insp. Crosbee Gumowang also conducted a routine inspection to make sure that the contractors have complied with the obligatory repairs of these fire engines.

With the restoration of this most important fire fighting equipment, BFP-6 said in a statement that it is now more than capable to better save the community it serves. (PNA)
