4 drug users nabbed in Bacolod


BACOLOD CITY, May 30 (PNA) — Four suspected drug users were arrested by Bacolod City Police Office during an operation for the past two days.

Police operatives collared Ada Rose Lopez and companion Jery Cordova, both on their 30’s, in an entrapment operation in Purok Sigay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City Tuesday.

Recovered from their possession were two elongated heat sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, two improvised tooter and three disposable lighters.

The police also arrested two other drug suspects in the village in a checkpoint Wednesday morning.

The suspects were identified as Louie Sombilla, 21 and Rey Jhon Jimima, 22, both from Purok Kagaycaay, also in Barangay 2.

Recovered from their possession were two elongated heat sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, one blue plastic container and one disposable lighter.

The four are now facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (PNA)
