BACOLOD CITY, May 23 (PNA) — Dr. Melvin Ibañez, the vice gubernatorial candidate of United Negros Alliance who lost in the May 13 election, is considered as the richest member of Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Negros Occidental.
Ibañez remains as the richest member SP with a declared net worth of P46,007,714.45, based on his Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net worth (SALN) this year.
Ibañez, based on his SALN, has assets pegged at P65,590,664.45 and liabilities of P19,590,664.45.
Second in the list is Provincial Board member Pedro Zayco who has a net worth of P24,456,137.86 and followed by Nehemias Dela Cruz that has P20,350,000 net worth.
Zayco has assets pegged at P24,930,721.16 while his liabilities reach P474,583.74.
De La Cruz’s assets, on the other hand, is P22,950,000 and his liabilities at P2,600,000.
Other members of SP has net worth of P7,741,204 for Miller Serrondo, P5,296,335.12 for Salvador Escalante, P4,021,651 for Mae Javellana, P3,550,000 for Jose Benito Alonso, P2,846,462.71 for Raul Rivera, P2,680,000 for Patrick Leonard Lacson and P2,575,000 for Helen Zafra.
Outgoing Vice Governor Genaro Alvarez declared his total assets at P39,992,547, total liabilities of P27,484,470 and a net worth of P12,508,077.
Board Member Manuel Frederick Ko placed his assets at P10,468,676; liabilities of P500,000 with a net worth of P9,968,676.
Sangguniang Kabataan President Thea Mae Dino declared the lowest net worth at P80,000 without any liability.
Another ex-officio member and Liga ng mga Barangay President George Gitano placed his net worth at P94,000 from his assets pegged at P294,000 with P200,000 liabilities.
Board Member Renato Gustilo declared a net worth of P284,890 from his assets placed at P795,000 with liabilities of P510,110.
