BACOLOD CITY, May 16 (PNA) — The honoraria for teachers who were deputized for election duty in Negros Occidental have been released, according to Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Wil Areño.
Areño said the teachers composing the Board of Election Inspectors (BEIs) could get their honoraria through their automated teller machine (ATM) cards at the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP).
Others, on the other hand, could get it through the cash cards issued by LBP but with P200 service fee deduction.
Teachers serving as BEIs per clustered precincts were expected to receive P3,000 as honorarium, P500 for the final testing and sealing of the precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machine and P500 as transportation allowance.
Others who served as election supervisors for every ten clustered precincts could get P3,000 each while their support staff will each get P1,500 each.
Those who served as members of the city, municipal, district, provincial or regional Boards of Canvassers, on the other hand, will be paid P5,000 each. (PNA)
