BACOLOD CITY, April 7 (PNA)–While others are busy preparing counter measures if North Koreans will indeed launch their nuclear weapons, some group of South Koreans here are challenging Filipinos in school football match.
Known as Korean Babies, the group enlisted as guest team in upcoming 55th Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC)-Talisay City Alumni Football Clasica 9-A-Side Championship on May 3.
The school’s event organized Henry Patinio said Korean Babies studied here and play football for leisure.
The football match, sponsored by the school’s Batch 1988 and 1984 Alumni Associations, aimed at fostering camaraderie among former football players of the school, he said.
The Korean Babies will play against PCS Batch 1984 Black Knights, PSC Tigers, PSC Tradeans Black Hawks, and PSC Azkals.
The game, now in its second year, is the contribution of alumni association as part of the celebration of the schools 55th General Alumni Homecoming. (PNA)
