BACOLOD CITY, Feb. 24 (PNA) — Ambassadors of Australia, Japan, Taiwan, China and Thailand to the Philippines are being considered as guests of honor in the upcoming 20th celebration of Panaad sa Negros here.
Provincial Tourism Officer Cristine Mansinares said the envoys of five countries have established closed bilateral ties to provincial government of Negros Occidental.
The 20th Panaad sa Negros known as the “festival of festivals” in province is slated on April 8-14 at Barangay Mansilingan here.
This year’s festival will highlight the provincial government’s gains in agriculture, especially on programs for food security. It will also showcase the ingenuity of the Negrense’s culture and heritage. (PNA)
